Shared PDF review freezes Acrobat XI

My colleague is using Acrobat XI version 11.0.10 on Windows 7, with SharePoint 2013. This might not be an Acrobat problem, but if anyone has solved it before, we would love to know how.

 

When she tries to open a document that she sent for shared review (using a link to SharePoint), Acrobat freezes. The document won't even open. She can open other PDFs as long as they're not connected to SharePoint.

 

She tried Help > Repair Acrobat Installation; no change.

 

An IT person disconnected her from the shared review site on SharePoint, and reconnected her, which allowed Acrobat to work for a while.

 

I have the same Acrobat version, using the same SharePoint site, and also using Windows 7, but I'm not having this problem. Any ideas anyone?
