I'm wondering if Acrobat DC can help me with this:
I receive about a hundred faxes a day on a shared fax machine. The fax machine saves these faxes in a PDF format called "Inbox". I want to rapidly sort these faxes and move the PDF files to inboxes folders for 3 other people, let's say Albert, Betty and Charles.
I think Action Wizard is the way to do this. I would open up all the faxes in the Inbox and then process each of them with a custom action.
I have set up an action to save the open file to a Local Folder (eg. "Albert", etc.). But how do I then add an action to Close the pdf that was just saved? Is there an action to delete the original PDF too, now that I've moved it to the Albert folder? Any other suggestion to streamline this process?
A program called A-PDF Preview and Move does exactly this with one click (but is missing other functionality). I'm hoping Acrobat can replicate this.
