I currently have Acrobat X, but am willing to upgrade. My quesion is, is there a version that will allow me to route a document for successive signatures? And if so, does the originator just need the capability (the users can use Reader?) or does everyone on the route need the same version?
I need to route contracts for signatures, but the signatures have to follow a specific order. I see that Acrobat X can send a document for signature and track the responses, but it sends it to everyone at once. I need it to follow a path. I found a link that said acrobat DC offered this, but there was always a caveat that said something like "chinese, japanese and Korean versions only". Why would that be?
It also looks like a cloud version may allow me to do this, however, if the recipients don't use cloud, or only use reader, will this process still work?
Thanks so much for any help! If Acrobat doesn't do this, does anyone know what will. The goal is for 1 person to be able to route/track , i.e. one "subscription". The end users will not have a subscription to anywhere specific.
