My COO digitally signs a document and put the doc into a folder, HR takes that document and moves it into a HR Folder, it loses its digital signature on that move.

My COO digitally signs a document and put the doc into a folder, HR takes that document and moves it into a HR Folder, it loses its digital signature on that move why does it lose the signature?
