I've successfully created a dynamic stamp; well successfully may be a bit optimistic but it's a 3-line affair and the first one does work.
This is the image from which I created the stamp:
The date line works; I've removed the time stamp but the mmm dd yyyy work fine. Except that it's not quite what I want to do and I've since learned that once in there, it can't be changed. I've downloaded the API and, like many before me, am overwhelmed!
What I'm trying to do is create a stamp wherein I can manually enter each line's datum. It's for BillPay payments so the date will always be some days ahead and, of course, the amount and confirmation number will vary also. Like this:
I did try just making it a form but of course, once it became a stamp, I couldn't get at the fields anymore.
I realize I'm spending a great deal more time trying to create this thing than I would have if I used text box (which I do currently) and manually entered each payment for about two years to come!! But having come this far, I'd really rather finish it.
So. Two questions I guess. First, can it be done? Second, how?
