I'm an accountant, and from month to month, I will prepare reports and copy and paste the "referencing" I made out of textboxes, from one document to the next, as they always line up in the same spot on the document.
Just recently, I've noticed something odd which I cannot fix and would impact hundreds of textboxes in my documents if I am unable to find a solution. My references include single letter text boxes.
Originally, textboxes would allow the text to hug the textbox border tightly, like this: [A]
Adobe is now adding, what appears to be cellpadding, resulting in the same boxes appear like this: [ A ]
The issue is that if I double click to edit the text, it will display as if there is no cellpadding, but when I click away, the gap between the text and border reappears. If I copy and paste a textbox from a previous Adobe document which displays like [A], and paste it somewhere else in the document or in a new document, it automatically gets adjusted to [ A ], which appears to be the new formatting.
Was this change on purpose?
