Desperately need help.
I am working with my medical records from the VA in PDF format. The VA system allows download in PDF format, but the system orders the pages New-to-Old...just like a paper medical folder with new entries placed on top. The system also uses a 'rolling' format and not complete pages so that pages carry over to the next page. One cannot just revers-order the pages.
I started making comments in my records to have a list of problematic areas. Now I have a 'latest version' copy of the medical file and need to transfer all the comments form the first document.
I'm using a Windows 10 computer with Adobe Acrobat Pro 9. I know it's old, but it's what I'm working with.
I had an idea but don't know how to do it or if it will work. I also don't know if the comments/sticky are tied to the page. Tell me what yall think.
1. Reverse order the pages. Since the order is New to Old, (Pg1 to 400), reorder them to Old to New (Pg 400 to 1)
2. Reverse order the pages on the new version of the medical file (600 pages).
3. Compare the two docs (400 pages vs 600 pages)
3a. Transfer/accept changes (comments/stickies) to the latest medical file.
4. Reverse order the pages of the latest medical file (600pages).
5. Add comments to the newest medical entries (pages 1-200) while the old comments are already there (pages 201-600)
Does any of this make sense? Did I explain it well enough to understand my problem/ bright-idea-solution? Do you have a better or easier way to do this?
Any help is appreciated.
