Hello,
We are using Adobe Acrobat DC 2015, and i am trying to 'install' a stamp.
I have figured out where the stamp is placed ( %appdata\Roaming\Adobe\Acrobat\2015\Stamps ) where it puts a long filename; in my case E0mQyJcE0yLMPJhaBu8SrC.pdf, so 22 characters.
This isn't the real problem, cause we are also using Ivanti for our profile-management. This means that personal-settings / files are being copyd to a specific location in the Ivanti database.
Our problem is: the filename as stated above, cannot be copy'd into the location that Ivanti uses. The complete path-length is too long for the file to be copied.
Yes, i know this is an "issue" of Windows, cause it doesn't support a longer pathname than x-characters, yet i cannot ask them to change it.
So my question is: Is it possible to change this setting in some sort of config-file / registry setting / whatsoever in Adobe, so that the filename that is produced, is shorter then the 22 characters? Cause if we rename the file to 5 characters ( maybe more chars does also work, but 5 is fine for now ) we CAN copy the file into the Ivanti location and everything works fine.
Hope to hear from you soon! As the Department of Justice, we use alot of stamps.
