Often when I am inserting a text callout into a pdf document, instead of filling in the callout box, Acrobat opens another box over on the right in the list of comments and suggests "Add a comment." When you type at that point, it doesn't fill in the callout box; it creates something different. This started when the hideous floating trash can first appeared. The trash can is now history, but this problem isn't. I don't even know what this "comment on a comment" option is supposed to be for. When I open a text callout box, with the next keystrokes I enter, I want to fill in the box. Why is the program doing something different? And what's the point of it, anyway? If I wanted to add something to what's in the callout, I'd use a sticky note. I know there are people whose job it is to monkey with the program, but these changes are not for the better. How do I disable this one?
