LEAVE_PDFOWNERSHIP=YES - Acrobat long delay in IE8

Hi All,

I have following issue. I need to set AdobeAcrobat as the default program in browser(IE), doesn't matter if Acrobat or Reader has been installed last. Therefor I was using Adobe Property "LEAVE_PDFOWNERSHIP" as follows -> msiexec /i AdbeRdr1010_de_DE.msi LEAVE_PDFOWNERSHIP=YES /qb! .

It was working perfectly fine with previous updates (10.1.1 - 10.1.9). Unfortunately in the most recent update (10.1.10) something has been modified (I can't figure out what) and using the same Adobe Property, the same way, I experience massive delays (8-12Minutes) when opening pdf documents within the browser. (no issues at all by opening a pdf within the program)

Problem Scenario:

1. Installed AdobeAcrobat 10.1.10

2. Than I have installed AdobeReader as follows: msiexec /i AdbeRdr1010_de_DE.msi LEAVE_PDFOWNERSHIP=YES /qb! /Li .\10.1.10_reader.log

3. Start IE (Version8)

4. Search for 'readme.pdf' document and open

As mentioned above opening a pdf document within the browser last at least 8 Minutes. (this was not the case with any previous reader patch)

I have also noticed if I uncheck the option Enable Protected Mode under IE Security tab, the pdf document opens straight away (in a few seconds).

Is there a workaround or any Registry key to add/enable/disable maybe to solve this issue?

Any feedback/answer is highly appreteated!

BR,

Zoltan
