Integration with SharePoint and version control

We have SharePoint 2013 and are upgrading to Acrobat DC Pro. I see all sorts of advertisements about improved SharePoint integration, but what does that mean, exactly? I also see blurbs about Version control. Can we now use version control in document libraries in SharePoint for PDFs?

How does Acrobat DC work differently in SharePoint than Acrobat X did?
