I am using Acrobat XI Standard. I have a child pdf document with destinations and a parent pdf document with links set up to those destinations. If I open the parent document in our network the links to the child document work and open at the marked point in the page. However, I want to share both documents on SharePoint (various reasons including company standards and making it easy for the audience) but the links to destinations do not work. To elaborate on that, I've created a document library and uploaded both parent and child documents, I can open the parent document but the links in the parent document to the child do not work (I click on them but nothing happens). I assume this is because they are linking to the network version of the document, not the version uploaded to SharePoint. Can I re-link the parent to destinations in the child once the documents have been uploaded and if so, how?
A key requirement is to open the child document at a specific point on the page, rather than just at the top of the correct page and the only way I know how to do this is using destinations. Is there any other way of doing this?
