We seriously need to be able to elicit input from the people who visit our site... so that they can enter detailed information--how can we do this?

It seems that Muse does not have any means of communication with site visitors, we want people to be able to enter information via filling in a form  and then have other people comment on it.. we need to be able to moderate and edit when necessary. Is this possible? 

I saw one solution was to link to a secondary blog site. Am I missing something?
