I have Acrobat X Pro (10.1.7) on my Mac (10.8.5) as part of CS6 and I cannot get it to show differences between PDF documents.
I have tried using both document types that aren't scanned and I've selected Text Only and not Text Only.
I even tried comparing the first page which has textual differences and I get nothing shown as highlighted or deleted and even when viewing the full 224 vrs 234 documents no differences are shown as a result of the extra pages in one.
The first page compare has text "Version 4.7+lists" in one doc and "Version 4.7" in the other doc and they aren't shown as different.
Furthermore, Lori' Kassuba's adobetv bit about comparing says the Compare New document appears with the Compare sidebar showing, which it doesn't when I compare. Simultaneous doesn't do anything either - each document moves independently of the other (Compare New vrs Compare Old).
Nothing is highlighted for the differences and no pages are marked as different even though one document is 10 pages longer.
What might I be missing?
